About the Club
Reading is one of the premier hockey clubs in the country. Winner of the Reading Club of the Year Award, the hockey club enjoys a high profile throught the national and local media. With two elite teams in the English Hockey League the club’s playing representatives cover the length of the country. The club runs 12 mens teams, 7 ladies teams and has a flourishing Next Generation junior section. The club has over 300 senior and 120 junior members and is based at a top class facility in Sonning Lane

Situated approximately 1 mile east of Reading town centre, off the A4, in Sonning Lane leading to Sonning village. Clubhouse and extensive parking facilities are on the right 200 yards from the A4.

Club Colours
Home colours: Sky Blue Shirts, Navy Skirts/Shorts, Navy Socks with Sky Blue trim
Away colours: White Shirts, Navy Skirts/Shorts, White Socks with Navy Trim
Ties and other Club and Berkshire Boars regalia are on display in the clubhouse and are available, together with sticks, shoes and playing equipment from the club shop. The Club shop is open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm and most Sunday mornings from 9.30am to 1pm.and is a stockist for Mercian and Dita Hockey products.

Note tha members are not covered by Club insurance for any injuries sustained, or any loss of property while at the club. Details of sports insurance are available on request.

Reading Cricket Club Site
The website of the cricket section at RCHC. The cricket club runs several midweek and weekend mens teams and also a ladies team Reading Ridgeway. The cricket section also hosts national cricket events. last year the club hosted a match between Berkshire and Essex. This year the club will host a round on the womens Super 4s competions.
