What do you want from your Club?
Reading Hockey Information Evening and Curry Night (including AGM)
25th May 2017 - 19:00 for 19.30 start

The Hockey Committee would like to invite all players, social members and parents to an information and curry evening at the club on 25th May 2017 at 19:30. We very much look forward to meeting up with as many of you as possible to talk through ideas and plans for the Hockey Club for the coming season.

This won’t be your usual “sit and listen” meeting, this is all about participation! So come along and join us for a curry, move around our “stalls” and take the opportunity to have your say in how the club is run.

We are also hoping that you share ideas and help to shape the plans for the future of the club. For a short part of the evening, we will incorporate a short formal AGM vote - we promise short !

Join us for curry and drinks whilst finding out about the clubs plans.

There will be information areas on the Mens, Ladies, Colts and Vets each putting forward their plans for next season, but also wanting to hear your views on playing matters.

There will be a Finance and fundraising section detailing where we get the income and how it is spent, as well as asking you for ideas and support.

Want to meet new members and have a good time? Come to the Socials section.

Do you want to know what is going on? Come to the Communication and General Information stall.

Do you have thoughts on the direction we should be going? Come to the Future Plans and Ideas section where we are looking for your thoughts on the future plans and shape of the club - on and off the field / Large or small - your thoughts will be heard.

Section and Finance reports will be available on the night for you to read and vote on. We will also vote in the Officers of the Club and subscriptions proposed.

The committee really want to hear your views on the club and its future direction, so now is the chance to come and tell us about them so that we can include them in the preparations for next season and beyond.

Visitors to each of the stalls will get a free drink at the bar from the Chairman!
