We have a thriving and active social life at Reading Hockey Club. There is always the chance of one of those informal evenings where everyone congregates in the bar after games, culminating in the regular cry of “Taxis to the Walkabout” perhaps stopping for a curry at the Sardar Palace on the way.
Apart from this we have a regular social programme organised by social secretaries Rachael “Random” Marriot and Barry “The Duke” Jukes. This programme ensures that for every month of the season (September - April) there is one Saturday evening per month that features a themed social evening some are formal black tie ticketed events some informal. Further details of each event will follow closer to the time.
