Yes, READING VETERANS are Champions of the WESSEX SUPERVETS ALLIANCE ALLIANCE LEAGUE 2008/2009
Although they still game a game to play next Saturday v Haslemere, they have remained unbeaten and not even Oxford Hawks can catch them now – well done everyone (and all their goalkeepers!).
They beat Epsom 7:0 yesterday. They were 3 up within 10 minutes and this was just too much for a slightly depleted Epsom side.
Goalscorers: Tim Mann 3, Ada Robertson (another short but this one with a new stick!), Richard Higginson (again), Mike Brown & David Sarson.
