L2: Reading 2 – Marlow 3

By Reading Hockey Club • Apr 1st, 2009 • Category: L2, Match Reports

A slow start to a rearranged fixture from December saw Reading 2 goals down in the first half – the Dirty 2s slow to get into the game for some reason.

The second half saw a totally different Reading side return to the fray and bring the score line back to 2-2 through Gilly and MeJulie – both great goals!

Reading dominated all over the park and were strong on the ball with decisive passing making the difference to their 2 goal comeback.

One is left wondering if the Dirty 2s had started the game as well as they finished it might well have been another win for the babes in blue.

Team:  Lex, H, Holly, Evans, Melman, Witters, Suzi, Jos, MeJulie Jenjer, Ellie, Gilly and Random

MOTM was Melman – a truly determined performance!

DOTD was Lex – make up a reason and you’d be close!!

Thanks to the noisy home crowd once again!

Next match is spookily against dirty Marlow again, this time at Bisham at 10.30 on Saturday 4th April.

Noisy home crowd welcome!

Bring it!
