By Reading Hockey Club • Aug 1st, 2012 • Category: Home Page, News

Men’s general training (for all non-elite players) restarts for the 2012/13 season this coming Thursday 2nd August, and will continue every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Sonning Lane.

Any one interested in trying out hockey for the first time having been inspired by the Olympics, or picking up the stick for the first time in a while, or moving into the area to play competitively in the London Premier Division, or indeed socially in the local Berkshire league, you are all very much wecome and should come along.

The training sessions are free of charge to non-members until August 31st, so please come along and try us out.

If you are coming along for the first time please make yourself known to Johnny Downer, the Men’s Club Captain.

We will be starting off the August training sessions with much needed fitness with ‘Jazzy’ Geoff Jukes, professional fitness instructor (and 3rd XI Captain), and with Chris ‘Airwolf’ Burden (RAF war hero and 2nd XI star). Don’t worry the fitness is designed for every level of fitness!
