A 2-0 loss to Sonning 4′s but lots of positives to take from the game. Their umpire was heard wondering how Sonning were winning at half time.
There was some good passing and 1-2 interplays, some successful passing out of defence and good calling. We just need to keep it up for the whole game, and turn pressure in their D into goals. We had no attacking short corners at all, and with Tracy Higgins and Lucy Dickinson’s hard hitting, playing for short corners is a tactic we need to work to our advantage.
