The weekend of 10th and 11th November sees Premier League hockey action continue at Sonning Lane, home of the National League winners and National champions. Reading Hockey is delighted to announce a bumper weekend as both sides are in action, plus the Ladies squad host its annual fundraiser – the ‘Spooky Fireworks Spectacular’.

After our fabulous Olympians thrilled us this summer it is back to the business of the National Leagues. The Ladies will be looking to go one step further this season and the Men are determined to retain their title.

Saturday 10th November sees the Ladies entertain the Sonning Lane crowd, for the fourth time this season; Captain Emma Thomas’ team take on West Country rivals Clifton at 1:30pm. The season so far has not gone to plan and Reading will be looking for an important three points on their home turf.

Following this, from 6:30pm, the Ladies squad will host a fabulous evening of entertainment, combining Hallowe’en, Bonfire Night and hockey. The fireworks display will commence at 8:30pm but before the culmination of the evening, there will be a whole host of entertainment available, including the opportunity to meet and play alongside our London Olympians and a chance to see their amazing Bronze medals. Tickets for the ‘Spooky Fireworks Spectacular’ are £10 for adults and £5 for Under 18s, and are available to buy at the Tickets page of the Reading Hockey Club website.

The entertainment continues on Sunday 14th October as Reading’s Men continue their home defence against Loughborough Students. Superstar Captain Richard Springham’s men will push back at 2.30pm as they try to get a stuttering season back on track.

This season Reading Hockey Club continue to look to attract record crowds to Sonning Lane and with another fantastic year ahead, we invite you to be a part of the Blue Army and cheer on Reading Hockey.

Tickets for the game on Sunday are only £6 for adults and £4 for concessions on the gate. Discounted tickets are available to buy in advance via the Reading Hockey Club website.
