Super Sixes Champions

A huge congratulations to Reading Ladies on becoming the 2013 Maxifuel Super Sixes National Indoor Champions with a great 5-2 victory over Sutton Coldfield at Wembley Arena on Sunday. This is the first time that Reading have lifted the trophy, and means that they qualify for European Indoor competition next season.
Meanwhile Reading’s men just missed out on making it an historic double, losing in the Final of their competition to reigning champions East Grinstead who lifted the trophy for a 5th successive year. Earlier in the day the team had put on a fantastic semi-final performance to overcome rivals Beeston 12-4, dominating from start to finish.
Over 150 Reading suppporters gave Wembley the full blue army treatment, and the games were also shown live on Sky Sports 2, but for those who missed out full match reports and more photographs will be coming soon…
