Ladies and gentleman of the best hockey club in country; the season is coming to a close which means only two things. First, we have to find something to do on a weekend to occupy ourselves, though more importantly the Reading Hockey “End of Season Annual Awards Dinner” will soon be upon us!
The date chosen to celebrate our achievements and go out with a bang is Saturday 27th April!
This is the most formal event in our social calendar and will include speeches from our Club Captains and presentations of various awards, to mark the achievements of both teams and individuals from the season! With this in mind, the event deservedly will be a “Black Tie” affair and you will be met with a Bucks Fizz reception from 6.45pm, before sitting down for a 3 course meal at 7.30pm!
This event will also give you the opportunity to have professional photos taken on arrival, which will be available to purchase online after the event!
The price for this fabulous evening is only £30 and if the above was not enough to whet your appetite, you will also be entertained by our resident MC Ahmet “Tino” Tuney with a few traditional fundraising activities such as a raffle brimming with prizes and our beloved game of “Heads and Tails”!
Once all the above has been concluded and well after the beverages have started flowing, the dance floor will be cleared and the DISCO will start. Need we say more?!
Spaces really are limited and will sell fast as this is by far, the best social event of the year!
Speak to any of our Social Representatives for more information and to purchase your tickets before they sell out! Cash and cheques are accepted or you can pay by ease with a BAC’s transfer, just ask for account details! The people to look out for are Rob Farrow, Rachael “Random” Marriott, Sam Howells and Ahmet “Tino” Tuney – if you don’t know who they are then shame on you but these mug shots might give you a clue…
- The ticket price will increase to £35 from the 7th April (so get booked in early!) and we will close on the 21st April (unless they have sold out before hand!)
- There will be no late “add-on’s” accepted after the 21st April, due to the tight catering deadlines
- Tickets gaining entry to the event, and which will be exchanged for your glass of bubbles on arrival will only be provided on full payment, in advance of the event.
