“Reading…haha fantastic…you mean we travel all the way to Barcelona to play Reading..??”

The innovative draw took place over the internet and featured representatives from each participating club participating via web cam as well as studio guests and questions from viewers. The first part of the show review the first round and provides a series of features on umpiring, coaching, the pervasive use of cameras and microphones amidst the participants (even some locker room action!) and certainly represents an exciting way of trying to present the sport to a wider audience. The recording of the show can be seen in full on the Euro Hockey League web site The draw, featuring the top 16 sides from across Europe, will also feature an all Spanish derby as Real Club De Polo Barcelona take on Ono Atletic Terrassa.
