Minis Success at Havant

The U12 Girls dominated their tournament, winning both gold and silver medals after an all-Reading final which was decided on penalty strokes. One of our two U12 Boys teams just missed out on a bronze medal after losing their third-place play-off to the hosts on penalty strokes; the other team finished 7th out of 12.
In the U10 tournament we brought home the silver medal and the other team finished 6th. And just to prove our strength right down through the club, the U8 team took bronze.
Our thanks go to all the players and their relatives, and of course the team managers, all of whom braved near-arctic weather on the South coast to bring home all those medals.
