Come and Support the Ladies 1XI

The Ladies 1XI face a crunch game this Saturday in their promotion chase. Just 3 points behind second they have to face the league leaders Trojans, in a crucial game that could see them keep pace with the leaders of fade our of contention. With only two home games left this is one of your last chances to see the Ladies play this season and the girls would really appreciate as much support as possible for this crucial game. Pushback is 12:00 at Sonning Lane.

This is just one highlight in a superweekend of sport at the Lane. The Ladies 2s will be the curtain raiser to the 1XI at 10:00 and the Ladies 1As will be playing afterwards at 13:30 so this is a rare opportunity to see the top three ladies teams play at home together. Following the hockey you can watch the Scotland vs England Six Nations game in the clubhouse bar at 15:15 and join all the Reading Ladies on a night of revelry as we head into town later (if in doubt head to the Walkabout we WILL be there at some point).

The Mens 1XI are away from home at Canterbury this weekend in a late night Saturday pushback (18:00 Polo Farm)

On Sunday all four of our Academy teams are in action in the last 16 of the junior knockout cups. The U15 girls have the long trek to Exeter to play Isca, the U15 Boys have a local derby against High Wycombe, the U18 Boys are off to Winchester and the U18 girls host Gloucester City (14:00 Sonning Lane).
