Clubhouse and Grounds Clean Up

By Reading Hockey Club • Dec 12th, 2013 • Category: Home Page, News

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th December

Your Clubhouse and grounds are in desperate need of a good tidy and clean up.

We have a very busy second half of the season to get ready for, including the Men’s and Ladies Playoff weekends at the beginning of April. Plus some possible International games over this period as well.

The Christmas period is a great time to do all those jobs in that cannot be done during the season as the clubhouse is in use every single day of the year!!

The outside jobs that need doing include leaf collecting in and around both pitches, general grounds tidy up and gardening, fixing of the dugouts and goals and general fixing of gates and facilities around the grounds. Inside the clubhouse the focus will be on brightening up the entrance hall and painting the corridors and changing rooms, plus clearing out and cleaning the bench cupboards, physio rooms, umpire room etc.

If you can spare some time then please come down to help make your club cleaner and brighter for the second half of the season. The more people we can get to come down the help, the quicker it will be to complete the jobs needed doing.

Help make your club be the best off the pitch as well as on the pitch.

For more information please contact Liz Spencer on lizspencer71@gmail.com. Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
