Having lost Heidi and Lucy to the 3a’s and 3′s it was particularly good to welcome Rachel back after her recent injuries. She didn’t look like she’d been away, though what the opposition made of her prayer like pose on the side line is anyone’s guess!

The most memorable moments of the match were:

  1. Jules calmly saving a penalty flick
  2. Man of the Match and birthday girl Tammy’s Guinness top hat and cake
  3. Janice being described as ‘dangerous’ by the opposition
  4. Trina being referred to as ‘speedy’ – it was very early in the match when the pitch was still water logged from my over exuberant watering which slowed the ball down – but, between friends, we don’t need to mention that do we?!

With only 5 games of the season remaining opportunities to challenge for our SPLASH competition are slipping away, but the race for top goal scorer is wide open.
