Wanted: Head Coach of the ladies 1st XI

Reading Hockey Club is looking for a suitably qualified and motivated coach to replace Steve Bayer and lead the elite performance section of the Ladies section in the 2014/15 season as Head Coach of the ladies 1st XI.
The squad has a unique blend of athletes that presents a challenge and opportunity to work with experienced internationals, excellent established club players and junior internationals striving to develop their hockey careers.
Reading Hockey is one of the premier hockey clubs in the country with 11 men’s and 7 ladies sides as well as a thriving junior academy, helping to develop talent.

Key points to the role is to develop and define the vision and strategy for the 1st XI team, including: tactics, playing principles, player recruitment, succession planning and elite youth development, coaching of the indoor team and the ability to manage a mix of Internationals, Junior Development players and established club players within the squad.

Applicants would ideally hold a minimum of Level 2 Coaching qualification.
