Reading Finish 4th in Bloemendaal

Reading finishedi n 4th place in the Eurohockey European Club Championship after being defeated 2-6 by home side Bloemendaal on the final day of the tournament.  The title was taken by German side Crefelder after they edged out Atletic Terrassa 1-0.

National Cup Success for Reading as U18 and U15 Boys Take Titles

It was another successful weekend for Reading HC this weekend as the finals of the National Cup competitions, sponsored by the Man Group, reached their conclusions. Reading were represented by their U18 and U15 boys teams and both returned home with more silverware for Reading’s overflowing trophy cabinet.

The Mercian boys’ league finals took place yesterday at Canterbury HC.
We were the only club to have teams in all three age groups – U14, U16 and U18.
The U18 boys won (no real surprise there!) beating Canterbury 1-0 in the final
