Congratulations to all.

Here are the winners from this Seasons Awards

Mens Section :

Young Player of the Year

OLIVER CLARK

Dobby joined the 4th XI from the 5th XI for the last game before Christmas, having had one or two opportunities to impress before that point.
He has done well considering he's moved up 3 divisions and joining a team at the top of the table. Having adapted to the increased pace of the game he makes excellent and unselfish leads, providing strong link up play as well as demonstrating high work rate to defend from the front. He has also contributed with goals, finding some great scoring positions

Performance Player of the Year

LEE MORTON

Lee joined Reading from the cold depths of Scotland as a freshly faced young man, ready to take Berkshire by storm.
It started off in a foam party and he never looked back.

His relentless work ethic and drive to win, has led to many a man of a match performance and he was the front runner for winning this award voted by his peers.

His club mentality has led to him integrating across all squads, and he has become the second most popular person in the club, behind his good friend Liam Sanford.

Colt Performance Player of the Year

TOM WRIGHT

Marked and huge improvement in both in Colts and Men's.
He's played out of position regularly without complaint and taken his chances in the Men's section playing for M2s and Men's 1s.
Selection and progression for Wales.

Most improved Player of the Year

TOBY JONES

Toby Jones is strong, solid and reliable defensively, calm and confident with good vision and awareness going forward.
His effort & contribution is great for the team and he a great addition to the club and we look forward to seeing how his progression continues.

Player of the Year Award

CIARAN O’CONNELL

Always training and committed.
Has been in and out of the 1st XI and never seems to complain.
Stepped up and played really well at the end of the year.
His diversity and likeness to N’golo Kante is scary, and you can regularly see him marshalling his troops on a Saturday across both squads.
Like Kante Ciaran turns up to training in a bright Mini which is not to be missed.

Team of the year award

MENS 3s

The Mens Three’s have had an outstanding season on and off the pitch.
A mixture of very young, young, student, middle age and midlife crisis, this group of players have dominated the league they have played in, winning it comprehensively, scoring goals for fun and enjoying the amber nectar after most victories.
All the men’s teams this year have achieved fantastically, and it was a very close rung thing.
The 4’s were a close second but Chris Armitage couldn’t win for the 3rd season on the bounce.
A great season had by the section.
