Over many years it has been apparent to successive General Committees of RCHC that the aims and objectives of the Club and its supporting constitution do not reflect the current day needs of the club and its 2 sections. The GC has therefore unanimously resolved to seek to establish a plan to split the club into 2 separate legal entities. Once a plan has been agreed a General Meeting of the Club will be convened to update members on progress and present a proposal to the whole club membership on which it will be asked to vote

In addition the GC are proposing to restructure its composition to comprise The RCHC President, Chairman and Treasurer and the 2 section Chairmen - this will ensure appropriate governance of RCHC in the interim. Additionally a smaller group will be set up to discuss and manage the FMU.

In the meantime the agm will be invited to indicate its support for the direction proposed by the GC.
