Jackson scores again in the Cup

Canterbury 2 Reading 3
TOM CARSON scored a late goal as Reading came from behind to win their NOW: Pensions Cup fourth-round tie at Canterbury on Sunday.

They fell behind in the opening 10 minutes, but it wasn't long before John Jackson brought the scores level.
The Ireland captain has now scored in each of the last three cup matches.

The Kent side regained the lead shortly before half-time, but from then on Reading defended well with Canadian Kevin Pereira outstanding in goal.

It wasn't until the hour mark when skipper Chris Newman brought the scores level and there were just two minutes left when England forward Carson grabbed the winner.

Blues will now be away to Southgate in the quarter-finals on February 8 – their fourth successive away tie.
