Reading Hockey Club and Ravi's family would like to pass on to all Ravi’s friends their thanks for the messages (including Twitter and Facebook posts) that they have received since Ravi’s passing. We have all been touched by the volume of responses as well as all the people who have changed their Facebook profile pages to one that Ravi took for his company RSKG photography. It is a wonderful accolade to a special club member.

Thank you to everyone who has been posting kind messages about our brother, Ravi Shankar K Ghowry. We have been reading them all. They provided particular solace when Mum, Asha and I were stuck at airports waiting to come home. Please continue posting your tributes and stories. We will update you on service details when we know more.

The club will run club training this evening (Thursday) for Ladies and Men's 1's as normal. We will welcome members and friends to join the committee at the Hungry Hut for drinks and to share memories of the great times we had with Ravi. The men will not train but congregate at 7pm with ladies joining before the 8pm training or stay for a drink after the 6.30pm slot.

There will be a number of games and coaching sessions this weekend where we ask the Hockey Family to observe a minute's silence to remember Ravi. Ribbons will be worn by ladies teams.

We are also announcing a Club Photo Weekend, where all club members will be invited to post their best photograph of the chosen weekend, as a tribute to Ravi on the club website. More information will follow following the service.
