Wimbledon 0 Reading 2
(abandoned 60 mins due to floodlight failure)

READING were less than 10 minutes away from winning on Saturday evening when a floodlight failure caused the match to be abandoned.
Blues are now waiting to hear from the league whether they will have to return to the Kings College School Sports Ground or the result will stand.
And they will be disappointed if they are forced to play the game again.
“We were in control of the game and were well worth our two-goal lead,” said team manager Chris Davey.
“We also hit the bar, had a couple of shorts saved on the line and we were unlucky not to have been awarded a penalty stroke.
“So we will be disappointed if they (league officials) tell us the game must be played again.”
Blues scored both their goals from penalty corners, with Tom Carson netting after 21 minutes and Rick Mantell six minutes later.
It was a good performance by the Blues who were missing three players following the bruising encounter with Southgate the previous week.
Dan Shingles and Timmy Lewis were both ruled out by cuts to their hand, while Simon Mantell was suffering from mild concussion and advised not to play following a visit to his doctor on Friday.
Another absentee was Ben Boon, who is playing for Great Britain in the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia.
He was among the scorers when GB opened their campaign with a 5-0 win over Pakistan on Sunday at the Taman Daya Stadium in Johor Baru and on Monday he netted the first goal in the 2-0 defeat of India.

Reading are home to defending champions Beeston on Sunday 19th(2.30pm), with the Bees having battered Brooklands MU 7-1 last weekend.
