Card Crazy

Narrow defear

The day started well with Terry arriving on time and Graham Waldron almost running over several London civilians. Despite the unfortunate absence of Sam Howells who had left us for some foreign country that I don't know the capital of the 2s went about gaining yet another 3 points.

The game started well with reading crafting some good chances as well as winning a handful of corners. These corners however didn't come close bar one thunderbolt of a drag flick from myself which forced a world class save from the spencer keeper. Throughout the rest of the half both teams defences remained strong and the Great Wall of terry was yet to be knocked down. After an inspiring half time team talk from Chris Powell the second half begun. About midway through the half some high pressure and fluid link up play led to a penalty stroke which was expertly put away by Michael Cullimore. However Spencer were able to make the most of some 'questionable' decision making and slot away to short corners to win the game 2-1 (bastards)

The day cultivated in Max Carter Keall winning the man of the match after a tense game of Rock Paper Scissors and Will Hooper coming up with the worst Dick of the day vote ever.
