Didn't have our shooting boots on, by Janice Westacott.
Early start for this one and showed a bit in our first half. Windsor took advantage and scored. However despite our beloved Captain Liv, having a hangover with a capital H..A..N..G..O..V..E..R, and some of us with other malaises (not alcohol related), we gradually began to settle down and developed some nice passages of play.
There was some nice passing between the mid field and forwards led by MOM Katie, but we just couldn’t get the goal. We dominated the second half, with some more near misses and a source told this author that after the game Windsor were unhappy with how they played, thinking they could play better. So, some comfort that we stopped them playing their game.
Some great performances and an immense amount of work by all. Score did not do us justice.
Additional - Liv discovered that it is true that a hangover helps you play well, but, Boy, do you pay for it afterwards!
Hope you feel better Liv!
