London League Division Five - 7th place
http://www.londonhockeyleague.org.uk/

The fours had their toughest season in a while, not because last year we were promoted to Division 5, but as we had a lack of players in our pool we never had the same squad each week. We also often played with less than 11 [...]

Men’s 4th XI
London League Division Five
Season 2006/07
Well where to begin. Yet again Laz took on the captaincy of the 4th XI despite having ‘retired’ several years ago. And it was looking like a pretty good line up to start the year despite the obvious problem in goal – lots of old faces mixed with a [...]

M4: Reading Musketeers 8 Indian Gym 1

By Reading Hockey Club • Jan 16th, 2006 • Category: M4, Match Reports

A new year ? a new team look, wobbly and we are not talking
stick skills!

Hard work by the midfield and hard defending by left and right backs [...]

Another cold day, but this time at home ? well EHP anyway.
Not sure how the game started, as I had just umpired Mens 2As and witnessed a 6 ? 0 win against 9 man Guildford.
As I arrived at EHP the score was 1 ? 0 to Spencer.
Game was quiet with very little shouting ? encouraging [...]

M4: Hampstead and Westminster 1 Reading 6

26.11.05
On a cold morning the Reading 4s (Musketeers, or as Laz still calls them, The Masketeers. What is one vowel difference? The team have now decided to call him Lez, until he sorts out his mispronunciation) took on the mighty H and W. The teams were only separated by 1 point in the league and [...]
