It is an 11min journey, an excellent service, with USB charging and WiFi
Get the #14 from Blagrave Street, at busstop ‘EM’ directly outside Reading Train Station (opposite side of roundabout behind the monument, in front of white Malmaison hotel)
Cashless payment by tap: £2 single, £3.50 all day pass.
Alight at Shepherds Hill Top stop, opposite the BP Garage and walk the 0.7miles (10-15mins) to Sonning Lane.

Train - Reading Train Station

Highly accessible from most parts of the country. Is the easier option compared to Twyford.
Out of London Paddington on mainline is 23-30mins on direct train
Get the #14 bus as above,
Black Cab taxi rank outside Reading Station, expect to pay ~£15 for a one way taxi journey.
20 min cycle.

Train - Twyford Train Station

Out of London Paddington, either 29mins on mainline GWR train or 46mins on Elizabeth Line.
Onwards to Sonning lane is a 30min bus or 10min taxi or 16min cycle or 1hr 19min walk.
#128 or #129 Thames Valley Bus, from Twyford Cross takes 25-30 minutes. Go to https://www.thamesvalleybuses.com/services/CTNY/127 to plan your journey.
Taxi rank is immediately outside station is Loddon cars (0118 932 1321) and a few mins walk is Twyford taxis (0118 311 1500), expect to pay ~£8.

By Car

If you choose to drive, Sonning lane is highly accessible by car.
5mins (2 miles) from the exit of the A3290 (accessed from Junction 10 of the M4).

Electric Vehicles

There is no EV charging available at Sonning Lane.
Two minutes’ drive (10mins walk) there is a BP Pulse at Shepherds Hill, with four charging points, two 150kW DC Combo (Type 2) and two 100 kW Chardemo (CHAdeMO).
