We do not publish personal contact e-mail addresses for club officials or members to protect their mailboxes from filling up with unsolicited e-mail aka spam. We are looking at ways of protecting published e-mail addresses but the only foolproof way is not to publiosh any in full. To get around this we only publish readinghockeyclub.org.uk e-mail aliases for club contacts.
In order to send an e-mail to a a contact at the club you will need to combine the published alias for a contact with @readinghockeyclub.org.uk to create a full e-mail address.
For example if you see something like this on the site:
Coach: Mr No Reply
Tel: 01234 56789 (the Monte Carlo number darling)
E-Mail: no.reply
Then to send an e-mail to this contact you would enter no.reply@readinghockeyclub.org.uk as the e-mail address when composing your mail (yes this is a full e-mail address we know. It is a spam honeypot. We hope spammers send e-mail to no.reply@readinghockeyclub.org.uk, really we do. All e-mail sent to this address is immediately destroyed. Yes spammers e-mailing us here at no.reply@readinghockeyclub.org.uk is totally futile. We hope you waste your time doing it so we have to waste less time clearing your unwanted dross from our actual inboxes).
All e-mail addresses to Reading Hockey Club contacts take the format:
firstname.lastname@readinghockeyclub.org.uk
If you send an e-mail to a contact who hasn’t got got a club address set up then don’t worry your e-mail won’t be destroyed but will go to the main club address and will be forwarded on to the appropriate person.
Phew! If all this is much too confusing just fill in the web form at the top of this page, we’ll forward your message on and the person you are trying to contact will get back to you.
