Role for a club book keeper

The position of Club Bookkeeper has become available.
This is a paid role which takes 8 to 10 hours a week.
The role can be undertaken at home using the Sage Accounting package although regular visits to the Club will be necessary to collect accounting vouchers.

Key responsibilities are:
- Raise and issue Sales Invoices to customers for use of Club facilities
- Credit Control
- Process Supplier Invoices,reconcile to Supplier Statements and arrange payment
- Receive monthly payroll reports from the Club's Service Provider and process in Sage
- Process entries on the Bank Statements of the Club's Bank Accounts and reconcile to Sage
- Reconcile and post Club credit card statements supported by credit card vouchers
- Prepare and submit the Club's quarterly VAT Return
- Support the Club Treasurer in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts and
Annual Statutory Accounts

This is a Club role as Reading Cricket and Hockey Club is the entity for reporting. Knowledge of Sage Accounting software would be advantageous.
