Reading Hockey Club is delighted to announce the appointment of a new coaching team for the upcoming season, led by five-time Olympian Jason Lee.

During Jason Lee’s playing career he won 82 caps for England and 35 for Great Britain, scoring 35 goals. He played in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. Retiring after the 1998 World Cup he moved into coaching, taking up roles for England in 2003 and Great Britain in 2004. His squads competed at three successive Olympic Games in 2004, 2008 and 2012, and took England to their first ever European title at the 2009 EuroHockey Championships.

New Performance Squad Manager Tim Hamilton said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Jason Lee at Reading Hockey Club. Jason brings with him huge knowledge and experience, and is a real signal of the intent we have as a Club.”

Reading HC Club Captain Rob Farrow said: “I am pleased to welcome Jason Lee, and along with his coaching team am looking forward to an exciting and successful season.”

We will shortly be announcing Jason’s coaching team, so look out for further details at the end of this week.
