New Ladies 1st XI Head Coach

Reading HC Welcomes Jo Ellis to the club.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new coaching team for our ladies performance group the upcoming season, led by Olympian Jo Ellis.

During Jo's playing career she was part of the England hockey team that won bronze at both the European Championships in Manchester and the Champions Challenge in Baku. Competing at the highest levels Jo has played at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games representing Great Britain and continues to compete for the England Masters team on the international stage.

New Reading Hockey Club Captain Fran Harvey said: “I am pleased to welcome Jo Ellis at Reading Hockey Club. Jo brings with her huge knowledge and experience within performance squads, and is a real signal of the intent we have as a performance group and our club wide initatives. I am looking forward to an exciting and successful season ahead!”

Jo will be supported by Shenarda Dedic for the coming season. Alongside them Steve Hardy, head coach of Reading Performance centre will
continue his role supporting the performance group and heading up the our second XI squad.
