Classic Camps
During the summer holidays, Classic Camp 1 runs for a period of up to 6 days and Classic Camps 2 and 3 are for up to 5 day periods. Single days can be booked with discounts applied to the day rate for 2 or more days booked in any one camp. These rates are shown further below.

Each camp holds a 'Bluesticks Award across the junior, intermediate and senior channel, a unique award that recognises the player(s) with developed skills.

Performance Camps
Performance camps run over a 2 day period and are suitable for players that have been playing at Junior Academy Centre (JAC) level or above. The camps will be delivered by a current or past premier league player, and will seek to hone specific skills on how to make it to the next step of the hockey pathway.

CLASSIC 1: 26th – 28th July and 31st July – 1st August
PERFORMANCE 1: Friday 28th July and Monday 31st July

WEEK 2
CLASSIC 2: 7th – 11th August
PERFORMANCE 2: 10th & 11th August

WEEK 3
CLASSIC 3: 21st – 25th August
PERFORMANCE 3: 24th & 25th August

This season we welcome JDR Sports Camps as partners in delivering the Reading Hockey Club Camps. Current Men’s 1s player Olly Deasy leads the JDR Sports and will head the camps with his trusty team. They look forward to working with the stars of the future.

The camps are a great way for players to develop their skills and learn more about hockey. All abilities are welcome, so why not pick up a stick this holiday and join us!

Booking

Booking is now available and the booking form is available online and can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate link. Please fill in all sections on the form and submit the form to secure your place. Payment for the camp can be made using:

a bank transfer - using the player’s initial, surname and month of camp attending as a reference eg JBloggsClassic1; or
by sending a cheque (payable to RCHC Camps) with the player's name and month of camp (eg J Bloggs Classic Camp 1) written on the reverse to Reading Hockey Club, Sonning Lane, READING, Berkshire, RG4 6ST. Please mark your envelope FAO Judith Barton Colts Section.
