Mens 3s End 2016 with a win

Reading went in to their final match of 2016 looking to end their poor run of results in recent weeks. From the outset Reading played some great passing hockey with Ahmet Tuney and Tom Wright bossing the midfield and plenty of running up front from Ollie Clark. Despite creating some good chances Reading found the Aylesbury keeper in inspired form, making some great saves from the Reading Forwards.
Midway through the first half Reading took the lead when a dragflick (allegedly) from Tuney at a rare Penalty Corner was saved and Tuney knocked in the reboung. Does that count as an assist and a goal?
Despite being in command at half-time Reading knew that they were vulnerable on the break and the back four had to be alert on a number of occasions as Aylesbury looked for an equaliser. Up stepped the veteran combination of Sandell senior and Wright senior. A crash ball from the right was deflected high in to the Aylesbury goal to put some daylight between Reading and the visitors. As the half ran down Chris Priddle's ball in to the D was touched past the advancing keeper by Ollie Clark, his goal being a fair reward for some strong performances in recent weeks. Aylesbury kept battling but couldn't find a way through and Reading were able to close out the game with their first clean sheet since... Actually it appears that records don't go back that far.
