Rascals triumph in close game.

A close game lead to the Rovers leaving empty handed against the Rascals. The Rascals took an early lead after slip by a Rovers defender left Oli Sawyer clean through on goal and he applied the required finish. The Rovers had several chances from open play and short corners which they couldn't make the most of along with a couple of additional chances for the Rascals. Early in the second half Paul Kemp equalised after good work on the left from Bryan Ray. With the Rovers pushing for a second, a quick break away saw Chris W score his first of two with a clinical finish. Again the Rovers battled back with more good work on the left which saw Angus' bobbling shot some how beat everyone and ended up going in. With the Rovers going for the win, again the Rascals struck with two break-away goals whilst under pressure. There was also time for the last action of the game to be Ian saving a Penalty Flick from Oli, who was looking for his hat-trick.
