The GMA side were able to donate a couple of players to the opposition to ensure the league encounter went ahead, and a good team performance was the result.
With Barty pushed back to sweeper and Charles stepping up to midfield the side looked a little different but well balanced.
Micky opened the scoring as he deflected Yogan's hard cross just in front of the advancing keeper and Charles made it two from yet another unrehearsed short corner.
Micky was clearly enjoying his role at centre forward and he made it three as his shot from the left went in off the defender. With Peter Sherell and Yogan causing problems down the right the score was likely to increase. Just before the break Bob went through to finish with his reverse shot leaving the keeper no chance.
Thanks to Jerry and Yogan, who stepped up to help out Amersham in the second half and the game became a bit more even. Lauro and Micky, clearly avoiding a hattrick jug, had chances to pull further ahead but put wide and the young Amersham keeper, from their first team, did well on several occasions.
Lauro got his reward for a good performance with a crisp finish from Bob's run and cross to make it five.
5- 0 and three more points for the Rustics
