Becky Halle opens the scoring for Reading

Reading 5 Beeston 2
Written By Dave Wright from Reading Post

Alex Danson netted four times as Reading handed Beeston a real bashing at Sonning Lane.
But the England goal machine should have had five, as she also missed a penalty stroke.
Such was their domination, Blues could easily have won by a lot more.
They gave their visitors several anxious moments before taking a 12th-minute lead when Becky Halle turned in a pass from Ashlie Caddick.
The Bees defence was already struggling to contain Danson before she scored her first goal of the afternoon when she cut in from the left before powering a reversed-stick shot into the net.
Beeston, still seeking their first point of the season, were restricted to counter-attacks and their pace meant Blues' defence had to stay alert.
But there was only one side who looked capable of scoring in the first half and Reading's third goal duly arrived from Danson after 25 minutes.
She should have completed her hat-trick in the 43rd minute. Having been fouled by Ashpal Bhogal, she won a penalty stroke, but her effort hit the right-hand post.
Danson went close again before Beeston earned their first penalty corner of the game and it led to Suzy Petty pulling a goal back on 50 minutes.
Blues regained their three-goal margin in the 54th minute through Danson after Halle's effort had been blocked.
Three minutes later it became 5-1 when a defender could only push Ellie Barnes' effort, from a penalty corner, into Danson's path.
Beeston earned a second penalty corner two minutes from time and, though keeper Sarah Ellis twice managed to block the ball, it was eventually forced home with Helena Evans being credited with the goal.
Coach Merijn van Willigen said: "Obviously, I am pleased we kept our winning run going.
"I felt we always had control of the game and I was pleased to be able to give more pitch time to all the members of the squad."
Reading will be looking to make it four wins in a row when they visit Leicester on Saturday.
