2a's over and out!

It was a cold rainy day but the sun came out as we walked out to the pitch. Becci was delayed getting onto the pitch as she went to return the rugby ball back to the nearby rugby pitch, but unfortunately threw it against a tree meaning the ball rolled further away than it was before.... She was announced as a contender for DOD!
To prepare ourselves for the game, after our warm up we did some work on the press. [Here ends the match report with no mention of the actual match!]
In summary it was fair to say a strong Sonning side took their chances well whilst Reading had yet another new line-up. Beverley, Alice, Amelia and Abi were at the back, with Rachel running her socks off again switching with Amelia for breaks, whilst up in the forward line up were Charlotte and Philippa, there was some great posting up from Philly. With Hannah, Becci and Frankie making runs up front, some were unlucky not to come off but they were definitely giving Sonning a few headaches . Ellie subbed on and off as our bench player but it was a hard workout with 11.5 vs 14. There were plenty of good moments including the double teaming by Frankie and Philly and Hannah drawing in defenders. But alas Reading came second, its all about 3 points next week!
