A muggy but warm day! Frankie does the double!
2a's vs Thame 3/10
Result: 2-3
Ideal hockey playing conditions as we arrived at Thame leisure centre. Spirits were high in the changing room as Lisa motivated the team for the match.
Warm up was good, we started strong however, unfortunately conceded 3 goals in the first half. However, there were lots of positives, Ellie & Frankie worked hard as the inners, Emily, Emily T and Steffi sent balls flying down the line.
To finish the half Frankie converted a flick to make it 3-1 at half time.
This raised raised the spirits of the whole team and the difference was visible in the second half. Soon into the 2nd half we had a cross from Tia to Claire to score.
Although the whole team pushed hard in the last 20 mins we just couldn't score. Anna came up and won us a short corner just before the whistle, but again we couldn't convert and the game ended 2-3.
