RHC U18 girls 4 Wycombe 3

An entertaining and end to end game with more attacking play at both ends which defences would rather do without! Wycombe took the lead against the run of play but RHC penetrated well down the right eventually leading to an excellent goal from Kelly after good work on the right by Hannah C. Sloppily we allowed them to score again but just before half time Anna equalized.

2nd half saw lots of attacking by RHC but lacking clinical finishing or poor last pass being intercepted. Anna scored another only for Wycombe to equalise with 3 mins to go.
However, another RHC attack lead to a tap in at far post after good work from Beth and Anna.

Positives:
1. Possession
2. Numerous Circle and 25 penetrations
3. Some switching of play at back and midfield 4. Good work rate 5. Some solid tackling at back

Areas to work on:
1. Speed of passing
2. Outletting under pressure in midfield and from half back 3. Forwards movement in D to get ahead of defender 4. Quicker restarts and better use of width from outset.

Well done to all for a first run out together. Harder challenges lie ahead so we have plenty to do.
