The initial one-year partnership is in place from the start of the 2019/20 season, with Fortitude Hockey set to provide top quality specialist goalkeeper coaching to all goalkeepers at Reading Hockey.

Fortitude Hockey is the leading Hockey Goalkeeping Specialist in the UK and Europe led by Tom Millington and former Reading Ladies Head Coach Steve Bayer. Their expertise and experience are unrivalled, and we are delighted to welcome Tom and his team.

In addition, the partnership sees Reading Hockey’s Sonning Lane ground become one of Fortitude Hockey’s Official Training Centres, creating a regional training hub for all goalkeepers in the region. Alongside our own weekly Junior and Senior Academies, goalkeepers will have the chance to work with Fortitude Hockey through private coaching, private clinics and goalie camps.
