A comfortable 5-1 win at Lee Valley for Reading Over 55s against Old Georgians saw Reading clinch their third trophy of the weekend and sealed a memorable season for the Club.
First half goals from Colin Cooper and Pete De Lange gave Reading a 2-0 half time lead, which was extended shortly after the break by skipper Andy Holden. Not wanting to make life easy, the men in blue let OG's nick one back but rather than let that be the catalyst for a full on assault from the oppo, Reading stepped up and slotted two more courtesy of the inimitable Mahmood "Immy" Bhatti and erstwhile Ian "Wally" Hammond.
It caps a remarkable weekend for the 'Ding and an incredible season.
"We're gonna need a bigger trophy cabinet..."
