Following the latest guidance from the Government and England Hockey we are pleased to share updated guidance on our phased return to hockey activity at our Sonning Lane ground.

The information below will be implemented from Tuesday 9th June, including updated opening times.

Please note that bookings are only available to Reading Hockey Club members at this time, however we have launched a Summer Membership to give current non-members the opportunity to join and use our facilities.

We now have four ways you can return to playing at our Sonning Lane ground:
1. Play Zone Sessions - free to all members
2. Coached 1:1 Sessions - £40 to all members U10 Age Group and above
3. Coached Small-Group Sessions (up to 1:4) - £60 to all members U10 Age Group and above
4. Goalkeeper Coaching with Fortitude (same price as our own 1:1 Sessions)

Please DO NOT travel to the Club unless you have a confirmed booking.

PLAYING ZONE SESSION:

Available to Reading Hockey Club members in groups up to 6 members

Dates & Timings (all sessions are 1 hour):
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday to Friday from 15.00 to 20.00
Saturday 09.00 - 16:00
Sunday 09.00 - 16:00

All sessions are 1 hour and subject to availability, on a first come first served basis. DO NOT travel to the Club unless you have a confirmed booking.

1:1 & SMALL-GROUP COACHED SESSION:

Available to Reading Hockey Club members only as 1:1 or small groups up to 1:4 (U10 Age Group and above)

Sessions are 1:1 up to 1:4

Session length 45 minutes (cost £40 for 1:1 or £60 for Small Group Sessions). DO NOT travel to the Club unless you have a confirmed booking.

Please note, we reserve the right to decline bookings if we are unable to allocate coaches or if we have insufficient numbers of volunteers to be site marshals / supervisors to manage the site and keep all members safe.
