The Tuesday Team with around 10 regular members, from both the hockey and cricket sections, led by Alan Wade look after our grounds and buildings.

What do they do?
Either side of the tea and cake break, the tasks vary from painting, decorating, fencing repairs, general repairs, cleaning, hedge trimming, gardening, plumbing, a bit of electrics, mowing, watering the cricket squares, tree felling and litter collection; in fact, more than 400 different tasks last year.

When do they meet?
Every Tuesday morning from 9:30, rain or shine, all year round.
They took a short break for COVID but have been back in action for a month now, when they had an expanded team with several new volunteers pitching up.

So, who is the Tuesday Team?
Most of the team are fully retired and are therefore free on a Tuesday morning; a few are still playing, usually in the Vets sides, so you will recognise some faces.
The team is boosted by other club members from time to time when they are free and are always looking for younger members.

Can you join the Tuesday Team?
Absolutely. If you would like to join the team, for a day, occasionally or on a regular basis they'd love to have you join them.
