The match start time is 18:00, access to the pitch from about 17:30 dependent on the running time of matches before us.
Travel
Directions to the venue: Exit at junction 29 M4 which is the A48 (M) for Cardiff. After about 7 miles, pass Heath Hospital on right (with daffodil on building) and then Tesco Extra on left. Go over the River Taff and take left slip road immediately after WJEC building on left – signposted City Centre· At traffic lights turn left along Cardiff Road, eventually downhill with park on left. At traffic lights turn left into Penhill Road and then the road bends right into Cathedral Road. After about 1 mile turn left into the Sport Wales National Centre– signposted.
The city centre train station is a twenty-minute walk to the sports centre.
Venue
Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, CF11 9SW
The pitch surface is a water-based Astroturf. There are no pitch peculiarities. The pitch will be watered before the game and at half time if deemed necessary. There are two toilets available pitch side with suitable cleaning equipment.
Hospitality
Pre-match teas and coffees are available to our opposition and officials pitch side, located in our pitch side shop (green container).
Our post-match teas will be in the Sport Wales National Centre cafe at 20:00. Please advise us of your match tea numbers and any dietary requirements by Wednesday.
Changing facilities
Facilities for changing/showering etc are located in the main building of the Sport Wales National Centre, changing rooms will be allocated for both teams and the officials - please ask at reception for a key.
Spectators
Our Super Saturday events are ticketed. Spectators can pay on the gate.
