Reading Rovers managed to halt their losing run with a convincing 4-2 win over South Berkshire 4thXI in Bracknell this afternoon. An excellent debut by Reading new boy Jack Nicholls saw the Rovers take a 4-0 first half lead before South Berks battled back with a late first half goal and then a second with 10 minutes to go. A third could have given a nervy last few minutes but the Rovers competently kept possession ensuring South Berkshire finished well beaten.
