In miserable conditions, we travelled to Maidenhead to play a tough side. Maidenhead started off hard and fast managing to score a goal off a short corner in the first half. The rest of the half was a battle with great defence from Amy, Freya and Krishna. We very nearly scored in the first half after some great runs from both Liv's and Ines on the right. In the second half, we really pulled together as a side and everyone worked their socks off. Honor worked tirelessly in the middle making it very hard for maidenhead to get round us. As a result of our efforts, on one of our many short corners Mimi pulled off an excellent drag-flick and Ines tapped the ball in on the post scoring us a goal - levelling the game. We continued to play our game strongly in attack and defence, making some excellent passes and tackles, but the whistle blew and the score was 1-1, an impressive result against a tough side.
