Hockey Match Report

It was a cold and windy day. The match was against Slough, which had a few strong players on their side and we had a team of fourteen players. The starting line up was Aggie in goal followed by Lucy and Georgie at centre back, Olivia and Inès on the halfs. In center mid was Mimi with Anna and Holly on the inners. Upfront was Ella in the centre and Caitlin and Amelia either side of her. This left us with Liv, Oonagh and Honor on the bench for the start. The whistle blew with our first push back and we were already off to a strong start. The game played smoothly with great goals by several of the girls. This led us up to half time with a strong lead of 6-0. With our positive chat at half time, every one of us made a strong start to the second half. There was great play throughout. Even though Aggie didn’t have much of an active match she did make 1 or 2 outstanding saves. The team were doing good drives up the side and managed to slot in two more goals. This ended up with the finishing result at 8-0. This was a great team effort and everyone is excited for the matches to come.
