Reading GU 16 Revels vs Amersham and Chalfont U16 DEV girls
A clear, cold, bright day. The match pushed back promptly at 11am. We played 40 minutes each way and it was an extremely successful game. The final score was 11-0 to us. We played very well as a team and we communicated a lot. Before the game started, we warmed up well with a jog and stretches. We put lots of pressure on Amersham when they were doing their 16s. We used the width of the pitch regularly. Sometimes, we went back to the defence and passed across to keep the possession of the ball. Special mention to Verity Szala who got woman of the match for her good stick skills and she was always playing her very best. Millie, Dharma, Lucy and Sala scored many of the goals. It really was a team effort. The defence worked hard together and was always there for a pass. The opposition were unable to work there way into their D. Toby was very positive with his coaching and also Josh was very helpful in encouraging us and telling us things that we need to improve on. A very pleasing result, well done to everyone!
