The Boys U18b extended their 2018-19 season all the way to the England Hockey National Finals Day this weekend and achieved a magnificent second place in the T3 competition. For many of the boys it was their last match as Reading Colts after playing for the section for over a decade and it was only fitting that they signed off with a big performance and a medal. The match was tight and cagey for long periods and it took some top level play and some strange umpiring decisions to break the deadlock. Marden who are no strangers to National Finals, they lost narrowly to our U18a's at the National League Finals a couple of weeks ago, were the more awake and scored some fantastic goals to grab the trophy. The Reading boys can hold their heads high on what they have achieved personally and as a team and we wish those who have A Levels and GCSE's starting this week the best of luck.
