Welcome to the Ladies Section

A very warm welcome to the ladies section at Reading Hockey Club. We have 7 teams spanning from National League level through to Division 4 of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon League as well as running a Ladies Masters and Back to Hockey. We welcome new players at all levels and all ages from 13 to whatever!

General club training runs on Thursdays from 6.30pm - 8.00pm from August to Easter and performance training from 8.00pm - 9.30pm. The performance and higher club teams also train on Tuesdays. Players are invited to come to this session, once they have attended pre-season or general training sessions.

Matches are on Saturdays and the times can be found under each team. When selecting teams, captains and coaches will consider playing ability, current form, fitness & athleticism, availability for matches, attendance at training, future potential (in some cases) and fit to team (which covers aspects such as balance of playing positions or experience, focus of team, etc - it is more relevant for the teams that are closer in standard) as criteria to reach their decisions.

New players are very welcome to come along to the General Training sessions at 6.30pm on Thursdays. We look forward to seeing you there!
